Grimas Camp is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, motivated to revive the Haitian legacy through the arts, culture, and education. Our goal is to reach beyond our community and connect with others who share common interests in the Haitian culture, promoting democracy and education.

The Carnival Parade serves as one of the largest platforms to spread the awareness of Haiti’s roots and culture. Participating in our 3rd consecutive Boston Caribbean Carnival Parade with attendance drawing in over 500,000 visitors every year. This year, Grimas Camp is proud to announce the expansion of the “Reviving the Haitian Legacy”, extending into the three major Massachusetts cities of Cambridge, Worcester, and Boston.  Attendance during the three-city tour is expected to attract millions of people with record numbers of participants representing nations from the Caribbean and other parts of the United States.

Following Haitian tradition, Grimas Camp will host our float in the parade featuring a Haitian international band and Disk Jockeys. Furthermore, Grimas Camp will manufacture costumes for patrons and volunteers who wish to march alongside the float.
